Meet our Executives
Eduardo Del Riego,
President.
Mr. Del Riego is a graduate of Florida International University with
a Bachelor of Business Degree and holds an MBA from California Coast
University. Mr. Del Riego began his career with Crowley Maritime in
1974. In 1976, he was promoted to General Manager of the Dominican
Service with P&L responsibility and held several management
positions through 1984. In 1984, Mr. Del Riego started EDR
International, Inc. securing Miami agency work for Sea-Land Agencies
and went on to partnership with Southern Steamship Agency (SSA). He
was instrumental in building SSA’s South America business and
operating their most profitable division. In 1992, after the sale of
SSA to Inchcape Shipping Services, Mr. Del Riego served on the
Executive Board and the Technology Committee. In 1994, Mr. Del
Riego partnered with the Di Gregorio family of Sao Paulo, Brazil to
build a U.S. organization, growing the business to over $100 million
in revenue by 1998. Since 1999, Mr. Del Riego has been instrumental
in nurturing various shipping and logistics companies in which he is
either a partner or serves as board member, as well running his own
logistics company based in Miami, Florida (he is currently President
of Active Freight & Logistics).
Robert Boucek, Vice President of Operations.
Robert J. Boucek is a 1981 graduate of the U.S.
Merchant Marine Academy at Kings Point, NY and has held executive
positions at U.S. Lines, Del Monte Tropical Fruit, and other major
shipping companies running land and ship operations. He has joined
the company as VP Operations. Mr. Boucek has operated liner
services from the U.S. to South America and has assisted companies,
such as Signet Maritime, in entering the Brazilian market. He
currently heads the Bringer Lines project for the company.
Ernesto Del Riego, Vice President of Sales.
Ernesto O.
Del Riego holds a Federal Maritime Commission license and an
Indirect Air Carrier Certificate from the US Government’s
Transportation Security Administration. He is also a qualifying
individual for company certification in HAZMAT handling. Ernesto
has negotiated Letters of Credit and Bank Collections for company
clients in multimillion dollar projects. His background includes
negotiating export rates and project charters, implementing
automated company functions, developing a new software program for
documentation, and directing office operations. Further, Ernesto
has been instrumental in developing relations with foreign agents to
extend company services worldwide. He has a BA Degree from Biscayne
College and has completed graduate work at the University of Miami
in pursuit of an MS Degree. He has various certificates in
International Import Documentation, Letters of Credit, and
industry-related TSA and C-TPAT processes.
